Zarenhymne 1833-1917

“Gott schütze den Zaren” war die Hyme des imperialistischen Russland. Das Lied ging als Siegeraus einem Wettbewerb hervor, der 1833 abgehalten wurde. Der Komponist war der Geiger Prinz Alexey Fedorovich Lvov, der Text stammte vom Hofdichter und einem Freund Alexander Pushkins, Vasily Zhukovsky.

Hymne der Sowjetunion 1944-1992

“Gimn Sovetskogo Soyuza”, “Hymne der Sowjetunion” war die Nationalhymne der Union.

Den Text schrieb Sergey Mikhalkov (1913 geboren) und die Musik komponierte Alexander Alexandrov (1883-1946). Die neue Hymne ersetzte am 15. März 1944 die „Internationale“, die man nach dem Niedergang des Zarenreiches gespielt hatte. In der neuen Hymne wurde zunächst Stalin erwähnt. Nach seinem Tod im Jahre 1953 wurden diese Passagen immer unzumutbarer. Von nun an, bis 1977 wurden diese Passagen nicht gesungen.

Seit 1977 benutzt man wieder alle Textstellen, lässt aber den Namen Stalins weg. Nach dem Zusammenbruch der Sowjetunion in 1991, führte Russland eine neue Hymne ein. Im Jahre 2000 belebte man die alte Melodie neu und gab der Hymne einen Text, der klar stellt, dass Russland keine kommunistische Gesinnung mehr hat.
